ID: OST4_HUMAN
DESCRIPTION: RecName: Full=Dolichyl-diphosphooligosaccharide--protein glycosyltransferase subunit 4;
FUNCTION: May be involved in N-glycosylation through its association with N-oligosaccharyl transferase (By similarity). SUBUNIT: Component of the oligosaccharyl transferase (OST) complex (By similarity). OST seems to exist in different forms which contain at least RPN1/ribophorin-1, RPN2/ribophorin-2, OST48, DAD1, and either STT3A or STT3B (By similarity). SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Single-pass membrane protein. Note=The single transmembrane helix has a kink in the middle of the transmembrane span. SIMILARITY: Belongs to the OST4 family.

The pictures above may be empty if there is no ModBase structure for the protein. The ModBase structure frequently covers just a fragment of the protein. You may be asked to log onto ModBase the first time you click on the pictures. It is simplest after logging in to just click on the picture again to get to the specific info on that model.
