  ID: OST4_HUMAN
DESCRIPTION: RecName: Full=Dolichyl-diphosphooligosaccharide--protein glycosyltransferase subunit 4;
FUNCTION: May be involved in N-glycosylation through its association with N-oligosaccharyl transferase (By similarity).
SUBUNIT: Component of the oligosaccharyl transferase (OST) complex (By similarity). OST seems to exist in different forms which contain at least RPN1/ribophorin-1, RPN2/ribophorin-2, OST48, DAD1, and either STT3A or STT3B (By similarity).
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Single-pass membrane protein. Note=The single transmembrane helix has a kink in the middle of the transmembrane span.
SIMILARITY: Belongs to the OST4 family.
